Top Three Golf Accessories To Shop For

If you know Tiger Woods, then you know what a game of golf is. Golf is known to be a sport of leisure and relaxation. Unlike most games where there is a lot of running, kicking and pushing opponents around, golf players simply stride and take leisurely walks to the next course after striking and shooting the ball to the intended hole. The basic equipments that a golf player must have are the golf club and the golf ball. However, due to the kind and vastness of the playing area, the characteristics of the game and of its equipment, a golf player must also be equipped with special footwear and accessories. Here are three of them.

1. Golf shoes. Playing golf means stepping and striding on a vast and extensive golf course of sand, earth, mud and lots of green, green grass. With these considerations in mind, the golf shoes that you purchase must be made of sturdy and durable material that has the ability to be long-lasting while prevailing over the elements of sun, rain, winds and moisture.

* Waterproof or water resistant golf shoes are a popular choice of most golfers. There is always that morning dew or the sprinklers that make the grass damp so expect to get your shoes wet for that first tee of the day. And a game of golf continues even with drizzles and light rain, so do not think you can get away being dry.

* When shopping try the shoes on to feel how they fit. They must be comfortable as you will be doing a lot of walking during the game. You would not want to find your feet swollen after every course. Allow your feet and your toes some space to move.

* Since you will be trudging on a lot of ground, your shoes will need spikes on them. Golf shoes with soft spikes or plastic spongs do the job of keeping you on your feet and preventing slip-ups. Shoes with metal spikes are not advisable and in some places they are proscribed.

2. Golf hats. A golf course is an open field which means that you, the golf player, are exposed to all the elements. There is the dust and dirt that might be blown in by the wind any second, perhaps some rain showers as the weather permits and of course, let us not forget the sun directing its heated rays in your direction. Without this favorite accessory, a golf hat, you might find yourself fainting from a heat stroke. You may be going home with a sun burnt face and tired eyes after all that squinting. Golf hats can shield you from all of these and help you focus more on your game.

3. Golf bags. Golf bags may be a cart bag, a stand bag or a customized one. Whatever the type, golf bags serve one purpose, to keep all golf equipment and gear organized and safely kept. With the number of clubs and golf balls that a player needs during a game, a sturdy golf bag is required to keep them all in. A golfer may easily move his or her way through the course and may just as simply bring his golf gear when he travels with a good golf bag.
