There are many golf sets out there and you can even get a good set at less than $100 dollars. However, if you expect to go professional, you will need top of the line clubs that will cost you a lot more.

Clubs that are used in golf are woods, irons, drivers and putters. It is important that you have a complete set so that you can take full advantage of the game.

• Bag – The golf bag is something that you will really need to bring your clubs around in. Golf bags are quite large and that means that you will most probably hire the services of a caddy to carry the clubs for you or you can rent a golf cart so you can just drive them around on the course. However, you will need the bag because it will not only just carry the clubs. It will be where you store all your golf balls, a cleaning cloth or two and even an umbrella if it's required on the course.

• Golf balls – You will need to have your own set of golf balls when playing the game. You can't borrow balls but you can buy them from the different clubs that do sell them. Golf balls come in many forms and depending on your needs (whether you want distance or control out of your game) they also come in different structures.
